About Us The Center for Family History and Genealogy is a large organization with many aspects. Below is a brief overview.

Mission

Utilize BYU resources to simplify the finding of ancestors and the discovery of the world in which they lived; and support the training of students for life-long temple and family history service.

Location

• Our office is currently located in 1031 Joseph F. Smith Building (JFSB)
• The computer lab is located in 1031B and 1031C.

Facts

• Fourteen students work at the CFHG.
• Ten of those employees work for the Immigrant Ancestors Project.
• Three work as research assistants.
• One works for the Basque Family Heritage Project.
