Correcting Outdated Information in A Member's Guide to Temple and Family History Work
A Member's Guide to Temple and Family History Work was published by the Church in 1993. Since that time, some changes have been made in Church-produced computer programs and in the procedure for submitting names for temple ordinances. The information on this page identifies those changes and updates the information.
Page iv
- All instances of "Temple and Family History Leadership Handbook," on pages 11-12 should read "Church Handbook of Instructions, Book 2: Priesthood and Auxiliary Leaders, Section 9: Temple and Family History Work, 266."
Page 8
- "International Genealogical Index (IGI)" should read "Ordinance Index."
- Bottom right, change the sentence to "FamilySearchTM also includes Personal Ancestral File, which can help you organize your family history records, and TempleReady..."

- In the paragraph that begins "Personal Ancestral File may be available..." cross out "and Macintosh computers" and add "A Windows® version may be downloaded free of charge from the Church's website at http://www.familysearch.org/."
